Abby Lengel is a professional horse trainer and rider known for her achievements in reining competitions. Originally from Eastern Colorado, Abby began taking reining lessons at the age of nine and quickly developed a passion for the sport. She joined the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) as a youth member in 2007 after saving for more than eight years to purchase her first reining horse. Under the guidance of NRHA Professional Drake Johnson, Abby successfully trained her own non-pro horses before transitioning to professional status in 2014. She worked with NRHA Professional Casey Deary from 2014 until January 2019, when she launched her own training facility in Gainesville, Texas. Throughout her career, Abby has accumulated significant earnings and accolades, including being a wild card participant in The Run for a Million reining event and a contributor to 'The Last Cowboy.'
