Film Producer, Director
Krishan Dev Shorey, popularly known as K.D. Shorey, was a veteran Indian film producer and director. He produced several films in the 1970s–80s including Zinda Dil, Be‑Reham, Bad Aur Badnaam, and directed Maha-Yuddh (1988) starring Gulshan Grover and Paresh Rawal. He passed away on 16 September 2022 at the age of 92. He was the father of actors Ranvir Shorey and Lokesh Shorey.
Functional film production banner 'KDS Films' was run by him in the 1970s–80s.
Made an uncredited cameo in his own film Maha-Yuddh (1988).
He lived to 92, working through periods when his family faced financial hardship in Bollywood.
