Shamsuddin (1 January 1929 – 4 June 2013), affectionately known as Pak Sudin, was a celebrated Singaporean actor and comedian. He gained fame through his work in classic Malay films, especially the Bujang Lapok series alongside P. Ramlee. He began his career as an extra in 1948 and later became a leading comedic actor across more than 25 films. He passed away on 4 June 2013 in Singapore, leaving no earnings or assets behind.
